Over 40 years ago, Bill Mitchell had an idea and set about making it a reality.


The Mushroom is an all brick building with four, single bedroom townhouse apartments. The distinctive mansard style roof and aluminum windows make an attractive and virtually maintenance free exterior. Over two thousand Mushrooms have sprung up in mid-Ohio and surrounding states over the years.

Its popularity has never decreased and investors continue to build the "Mushroom".

His dream was this: develop an apartment unit that would be the best possible value for everyone involved, and then build it over and over again.
